The game is only partially voiced, so voices will disappear in some chapters. Don't worry ^^

Maybe something for the next readme?

I've seen this question about the voice quite a few times already. :)

I'm not 100% certain this sentence is incorrect but... it feels wrong.
Perhaps "Out of all the people I've lain eyes on in this City, the ones I think are noblest are those who still haven't lost their tears or their feelings." would work?

And I've finished. Great game with an especially awesome ending.

Thank you. They should be fixed now. And it's very nice to hear you liked the game, especially the ending (best part for me, but there are bound to be many who feel its inconclusive or confusing or something).

Ok everybody! Im not really new here but I finally decided to at least help out my fellow players who have been having trouble installing this game. I have fixed the "Compiler Not Found" Error.

Now before I get into the step by step process, i want to tell you what my computer was having trouble with, so that if its another error or something along those lines, this method may or may not fix it. Also, if this guide has been made before feel free to delete this post.

Anyway, my first plan was to google the exact issue which turned up nothing I didnt already know, also I tried the method that was previously posted on this thread, which wasnt really detailed enough.
Whenever I installed the game, it ended up installing perfectly fine. It even worked when I tried to play it in the japanese version, which suggests that the issue is with the patch. If this is the issue that you are having as well continue to read, if it is not... Sucks for you.

Step 1. Install the Japanese game. Follow normal procedure, when it asks you a couple questions, just go ahead and assume its the top most answer and move on. The install should take roughly 3-4 mins.
Step 2. Find and download "AppLocale". Google it. You should probably get it on the first link. Its a microsoft page which will ask you to confirm your version of windows before you download. If your not using a legal copy, or the copy you downloaded wasnt high enough quality to get around this, go find it somewhere else.
Step 3. Run the applocale program and pass through it, locating the lmg-r3.exe file that you downloaded from this exact website.
Step 4. Now here is where it gets a bit tricky. The next page will ask you what language you wish to run the program in. Sadly for us non-japanese speaking people, there is no "Japanese" in the given drop down menu. The one you need to click is about 4 up from the bottom. Youll see some asian-looking symbols (right below the arabic ones) its the first set of asian symbols. Though if you dont have the japanese symbols installed on your PC whatsoever. Its these ones right here. Then continue and run it.

Step 5. Lastly, the installer for the translation patch should pop up. Follow it along until it asks you what location to install it too. It should say something like C:/Program Files/Liar/"-----------------"
If the "---" symbols are a bunch of question marks ('?') you did it wrong and it will fail. If it is a bunch of boxes, it means that it worked but you dont have japanese characters installed on your system. If it pops up with a bunch of non-sense-making japanese characters in which i wish to be able to read in some point in my lifetime, you have done everything correct, congratulations are in order. Begin playing the game.

Note: I assume that if you get the boxes that everything will work. I Do not know exactly, since i have japanese characters installed on my system. Someone who does not, please post if this worked for you or not.

Note Note: Oh yeah, for those of you who this works for, feel free to post how awesome I am.

Applocale is pretty bad actually, so it's basically a crapshoot whether it'll work for any given user. Actual Japanese locale is the only way to be sure.

Also, maybe I'm being technically incompetent as usual, but isn't your post just instructions on how to install and run applocale?

Well, my problem was that of the "Compiler Not Found" I was also in Japanese Locale. So I installed the patch in a different location and, cut-pasted all the patch-relative files into the game folder. Problem Solved ;D

Ah right, there were a lot of cases where the problem turned out to be people using the wrong directory. I think program files > 赫炎のインガノック is the one it likes.

I seem to have a problem with the text in the game. The font would be slightly messed up

For example the first sentence is shown like this
"The cl own i s danc ing at the edge of my vi si on"

Seems like the "i" and "l" are the only words affected to be shown like the above in sentences, it's pretty hard to read like that

Anyone encountered this problem?
I reinstalled the patch and this problem still persists
